But enough complaining, because this is going to be a fun and full blogging week with lots of exciting stuff - blog tours, cover reveals, reviews, memes! And to kick it off, I saw this A-Z of Bookish Questions post on a couple of blogs, and thought I would do it too!
Author you've read the most books from: Other than Carolyn Keene (I read all of the Nancy Drew books when I was really young) probably Lisa T. Bergren.
Best sequel ever: So many, but probably Cascade in The River of Time series, or Scarlet in The Lunar Chronicles series.
Currently reading: The Strength of Ballerinas by Nancy Lorenz
Drink of choice while reading: Normally water, but I love to drink peach ice tea or hot chocolate while reading!
E-reader or physical book: Physical book! but I like my E-reader too.
Fictional character you probably would have actually dated in high school: Hmmmm. Well, I guess it has to be someone from a contemporary book since I don't think I would be going into the past, or that he would come to the present. Sooooo, probably, Ren from the Tigers Curse series!
Glad you gave this book a chance: Divergent, I just wasn't to sure about it at first. I didn't love it, but it was better than I thought it would be.
Hidden gem book: Heart Song by Desiree Williams - It's now one of favorite books!
Irritated by: Being disturbed while reading - you should know better yet it happens all the time!
Just finished: The Elite by Kiera Cass
Kind of books you won't read: erotica and horror
Longest book you've read: Does the collection of all of Jane Austins novels and short stories count?
Major book hangover because of: The Tigers curse series! I read the first 3 books together then had to wait two months before the last one came out - pure bookish torture!
Number of bookcases you own: Technically I only have 1 bookshelf, it and my headboard are completely filled with books!
One book you read multiple times: Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren
Preferred place to read: In the summer I love to read outside all of the time especially in the swing glider type thing at my house or the gazebo at my grandparents house. In the summer I like the love-seat (small couch) or my bed.
Quote you like from a book you read: There are so many quotes that I love, so I'm just going to go with one from the book I'm reading. "'People are like diamonds,' she continued. 'They have many facets that can shine." - The Strength of Ballerinas by Nancy Lorenz
Reading regret: That I'll never have enough time to read all of the wonderful books in the world that I want to read.
Series you started and need to finish: Divergent, I still need to read Allegiant.
Three of your all time favorite books: River of Time series by Lisa T. Bergren, Heart Song by Desiree Williams, and any of Melanie Dickerson's books.
Unapologetic fangirl for: Many, many books
Very excited for this release more than all others: Deluge by Lisa T. Bergren!
Worst bookish habit: Sometimes being a mood reader is a bad habit, especially when I'm in the mood to read one kind of book, but need to read another kind!
X marks the spot: I'm terrible with bookmarks, I always end up loosing them!
Your latest book purchase: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Zzzz snatcher book: Every book I read that I'm almost to the end of, or serious page turners!
Your turn!
