My Review
Twisted Reflections is the second book in the Adventures of Alexis Davenport series. Like the first one, I enjoyed the time travel, historical references, and Alex's interest in history.

This book covers a longer span of time than the previous one, and Alexis goes through a lot of emotional stress. Between time travel, working every minute, and friends what's a girl to do when she doesn't have time for everything? Well, though the stress became unbearable, she eventually handled the situation well and I appreciated how realistic that aspect was, and I can totally relate.

This book deals with some of the stress and difficulty of being a teenager, mostly realistic, possibly slightly dramatic. And boy issues. I really like the fact that she meets a guy every time she goes to the past that she feels that special connection to. I hope she finds someone like that in the next book!

I liked learning the knew information about her time traveling abilities, and can't wait to find out what will be revealed in the third book. There was a lot of suspense and action that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning pages.

By the way, I love the cover and it really suites the book.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are solely my own.
